Final Font
So this project started to get very frustrating. I could get everything except for the quote to work. The font shows that it is in there, but it won't show up when typed. Anyways, I have used Illustrator and Font Creator 4 to make this font. The theme is Hack and Slash. I will be providing a download later, but for now enjoy viewing my effort. This assignment definitely provided some useful experience.

Font Set Stage 1
Ok, so this assignment called for making the capital letters of a font set. I enjoyed making these, but they are not my first choice for a custom font. My first choice however could not be made into a vector based font. I decided to make a slice themed/Zorro font. I like the way it is turning out so far, but I am noticing when the font is small a lot of the detail is lost, so that is a problem I am facing right now. Overall I like the assignment so far. Next is lower case, numbers and some special characters.
Painting with a graphic tablet
This assignment was pretty difficult for me. The requirement was to use the pen and tablet to create a piece of art in Photoshop or Illustrator. The difficulty I had is that I wanted to make something that looked good, but I am not very good at drawing. In the end I decided to do the one thing I am ok at and that is dragons. I like how the piece turned out, but there are some things I would like to change like cleaning up the lines a little bit and working on the eye. I love the way the pink of the eye turned out I think the shading and highlighting worked better than I thought it would.

The Wall Card Designs
I enjoyed this assignment because I thought it was challenging. I had many great ideas most of which I was not able to capitalize on. Overall I am happy with the outcome and the way my graphics turned out.
I used Adobe Illustrator for most of it. I did however use photoshop for my wall card to isolate it from one of my pictures and posterize it. I then brought it into Illustrator and made it a vector and added a background.
Vinyl Xbox Bling
Oh man I LOVED this assignment. I made a vinyl from scratch, design is my own and I cut the vinyl, then put everything together. It was fun! I love how it turned out.
The design is of the character I made for a side scrolling flash game and I designed this just to put on my xbox.
The design was made in Illustrator and then I used the CutStudio program to send the design to the vinyl cutter. I made 2, one of which I lined up without any help, the second I used a lightbox for.
I think I did a good job on this assignment and I also love the way it turned out. I can see myself doing more vinyl stickers in the future.

This was an assignment where I made layers in Photoshop, then animated the brushes in flash. I was trying to show the "model" getting covered in ice then his inner power destroys the ice. In Flash I did frame by frame animation and tried to mimic the motion of frost/ice and flames with the masks. I like how the assignment turned out, however I did not like the brushes for masking in Flash. If I do this in the future I think I will bring in a separate shape/brush from Photoshop to make a nicer/sharper mask.
